I have always believed that you cannot be future-proofed, so I approach my career with an open can-do mindset. I am currently focused on leveraging the potential of AI to change humanity and on surfing the wave of change that is sweeping the world.

I am a driven management professional and a conscientious learner with a knack for strategic and creative thinking. With more than 20 years leadership experience in organizational development, both in the private and public sectors, and a multidisciplinary background going from the humanities to R&D and social innovation, I have played a major role in promoting success and building resilience for the organisations I have worked for, always with a keen interest in achieving social impact. My career has primarily pivoted towards ethical and responsible management, team leadership, building culture and coaching talent, managing impact, operations and finance, international relations, strategic communications and fundraising, tackling operational, project and knowledge development, setting up IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance and promoting sustainable growth. If I were to use one word to describe myself it would be integrity. I am currently the COO s at ELLIS Alicante, also known as IHCAI: The Institute of Human(ity)-centric AI.

I received a bachelor’s degree in Communications Science (majoring in Journalism) from the University of the Basque Country (Bilbao, Spain) and a bachelor’s degree in Film Studies and History and Theory of Art from the University of Kent at Canterbury (UK). I also hold a Postgraduate Specialisation Diploma for Managing Directors of Foundations jointly awarded by the Spanish Association of Foundations (Asociación Española de Fundaciones – AEF), Universidad CEU San Pablo and Fundación Rafael del Pino.

Throughout my career, driven by curiosity and the will to tip the scales in favour of the best possible outcomes, I have not spared an opportunity to create, learn, grow, adapt, reinvent myself and collaborate. I prize family and professionalism above all else and am endlessly engaged in cultural, sports and outdoor activities.
